The University of Otago has provided its students with a first class education that has been the foundation for many distinguished careers, both nationally and internationally.

The University of Otago alumni have been influential in shaping events and enhancing lives around the world. Thanks to the generosity of Otago Alumni like you. The Alumni of the University of Otago in America was able to raise over $160,000 in 2009 and 2010.

This money has been used to fund some very interesting research projects as well as provide scholarships to students at the University of Otago who wish to study abroad or pursue higher education in specific areas.

As the economics of a University education are ever more onerous, we hope to
support enrollment of the brightest and best New Zealand students at Otago
University, and to enhance the opportunity for international students to have
access to the University we so enjoyed.

We hope you will have the same feeling that we, as the Alumni of University of
Otago in America have, “How can we give back?” I hope you will join us in this worthwhile endeavor.
